John & Dawn Buckingham have been landlords of The Bull Inn in Bexhill Road St Leonards-on-Sea for just over three years. This is their first public house that they have ran together supported by 6-7 members of staff in one shift.
John has already got a very successful building Company and a lot of this success has followed him to The Bull Inn. Apart from their large amount of local regulars, they also have a lot of people who come to The Bull Inn. Apart from their large amount of local regulars, they also have a lot of people whocome to The Bull Inn as far as Rochester, London, and Poole in Dorset.
The Bull Inn over recent years been very supportive towards local Charities such as St Michaels Hospice, Glyne Gap and St Mary's School in Bexhill and Muliple Sclerosis raising uo to £27,000.00 in charity work. John was in the chair of the Bexhill Lodge 4898and this knowledge has helped him in his work towards raising these monies.

There is a very speacial Christmas Menu available and bookings are now being taken for their New Years Eve Party. They have just taken on a new Chef who specialises in fish. Every three months he will be changing the menu to create a good variety and choice of dishes for you to select from. A more contemporary food menu is now available which is beginning to be very popular with the regulars as well as the new customers. A Childrens Menu is also available and in the new year a new vegetarian menu will be available. For those of you ho like a drink then why not select from Shepherd Neame real ales. A wide choice is available and some regulars have stated that they have one of the best malts in the area.
Reaction in winning the PUB OF THE YEAR for the area of Hastings and St Leonards-on-Sea both John & Dawn are escstatic in winnng this award and look forward to defending this award next year.
